Hanan Leberman
A Philadelphia native, Hanan moved to Israel at age 20, where he later studied classical vocal performance at the Jerusalem Academy of Music. His operatic debut came on the international stage at the Glyndebourne Festival in England, performing
Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg with the London Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Sir David McVicar. Since then, Hanan has performed leading roles in England, Italy, and Israel, including
The Magic Flute and
Soul Doctor, where he portrayed Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach in the Jerusalem production.
